Elevation correction of elevator lobby slabs across multiple floors in an occupied high-rise.
Challenge
Slabs had been poured approximately 3 inches below finished elevation in a fully enclosed, operational building, requiring correction without compromising safety or impacting building operations.
Solution
Through detailed pre-planning, permitting, and coordination, the work was carefully sequenced to address access limitations and public safety requirements. While the concrete correction itself was completed in a single day, the behind-the-scenes planning ensured a smooth, efficient execution with minimal disruption to the building and its occupants.
