Meet the
team.
Brent Hughes
Brent Hughes has been working in the concrete industry since 2008, bringing over 15 years of hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and large-scale industrial projects.
He began his career apprenticing in concrete tilt-up construction, working his way up to a foreman position with Phillips Construction. In 2010, Brent completed his Red Seal certification in carpentry, building a strong technical foundation that continues to influence the quality, accuracy, and constructability of his concrete work today.
Early in his career, Brent was involved in residential concrete projects including foundations, driveways, patios, and sidewalks. As his experience grew, his focus shifted toward specialized concrete tilt-up construction. He later spent four years working on major industrial camp projects throughout Northern British Columbia, operating under strict safety protocols while consistently meeting demanding schedules and logistical challenges. Notable projects include Rio Tinto Alcan (Kitimat), Site C Dam (Fort St. John), and the Brucejack Gold Mine.
Outside of construction, Brent is actively involved in the community. He coaches hockey and lacrosse and has eight years of experience as a full-time firefighter with Port Coquitlam Fire & Emergency Services.
Tor Reinholdt

Tor earned a full athletic scholarship in the United States, where he played collegiate lacrosse and graduated with a business degree. He later spent ten years in Calgary building his construction career while competing as a professional lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League.
He has since returned to British Columbia, where he grew up, to pursue development opportunities and has partnered with Brent to build and grow Hughes Construction.
