Complete Front Yard Transformation with New Concrete Driveway
Vancouver, B.C.
Project
This project involved a complete front yard transformation designed to improve both the appearance and functionality of the property.
The work began at the front entrance, where the existing sidewalk was widened to create better flow and accessibility. From there, new concrete stairs and a retaining wall were formed and poured together to create a clean, seamless transition between the entryway and the newly installed driveway.
The result is a cohesive front yard layout that improves access to the home while giving the entire property a refreshed and polished look.
Challenge
The existing front yard layout lacked efficient access and proper grading, and the driveway drainage system required improvement. Without addressing these issues, the property risked ongoing drainage problems and long-term performance concerns beneath the concrete slab.
Careful planning was required to ensure the new driveway, stairs, retaining wall, and sidewalk would all connect seamlessly while directing water away from the property.
Solution
Our team redesigned the front entry and driveway layout to improve both drainage and accessibility. The new driveway was carefully sloped toward a newly installed catch basin, while the drainage beneath the slab was replaced to ensure reliable long-term performance.
By forming and pouring the concrete stairs and retaining wall together with the new driveway, we created a clean, integrated design that ties the entire front yard together.
Through careful planning and precise execution, the finished project delivered exactly what was envisioned — a front yard that looks better, functions better, and is built to last.
A complete front yard makeover designed for improved access, proper drainage, and long-term durability.
